Laser Deflect runs completely inside your browser — nothing to install, no account, no download. The board is drawn on a 960×540 canvas that letterboxes itself to any screen, so it plays the same on a laptop, a Chromebook or a phone in landscape.
How this version plays
The whole run is built around one idea: Click a mirror to rotate it 90° / The red beam must enter the teal receiver. We tuned the speed curve so the first thirty seconds feel gentle, and by the second minute you are genuinely busy.
Scoring
A solved board pays up to 180 points, scaled down by the time you spent on it — a 20-second solve is worth roughly 150, a 90-second solve closer to 70.
Why we kept it small
We generate each board by placing mirrors first and searching every orientation combination for one that connects the beam, so a solution is guaranteed before you ever see the puzzle.

Are the puzzles always solvable?
Yes. Every board is verified against all mirror orientation combinations before it is shown.
Do mirrors that are not on the beam matter?
Only mirrors the beam passes through change anything u2014 the rest are decoration until the path moves.
Can the beam loop forever?
The tracer stops after 400 steps, so a closed loop simply ends the path without hitting the receiver.
