Cascade
DEFINITION
A chain reaction in a match-3 board where falling tiles form new matches without player input.
In Tile Blast the cascade counter is the multiplier — the first clear pays one times, the second two times, and so on for as long as the board keeps collapsing. Planning for a cascade means leaving weak matches on the board and setting up a shape that will refill into a match. Skilled players deliberately play the second-best move now to enable a three-deep chain two moves later.
